Anyone else receive an entry stamp with added random writing?
And if so, do you know what it means? I can’t even make out what it is… thought it might be a weird signature, but unlikely.
I don’t think I’ve seen many stamps with additional writing posted here and the immigration officer who stamped me in was in NO mood to talk or explain.
TLDR : Answer Summary
Many expats have observed that their entry stamps upon arriving in Thailand sometimes contain additional writing, which can cause confusion. This extra writing is typically normal and might indicate the page number where the visa is located within the passport, such as "Visa P.20". Several responses from the community confirm that such stamps are common and not a cause for concern. Even if the immigration officer appears disorganized, it doesn't indicate any problem with your visa.
