TLDR : Answer Summary
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) in Bangkok is currently allowing in-person visits, but they have limited the number of visitors to 150 per day. It's advisable to arrive early, as visitors may not receive a queue number if they arrive too late. The MFA opens at 8 AM, and it is recommended to visit in the morning to avoid long waits.

Going to the MFA isn't quite visa related. I think the OP got his answer and I'm closing comments.

Chris, is it your Marriage Cert that needs to be stamped ?
my marriage cert and my divorce cert all ok and stamped. It’s the wife’s divorce cert causing the issue going via a translate agent. When she divorced she carried the name Mills and never changed it back. But all her Thai ID etc is still her Thai name as was never changed in Thailand. Our marriage cert has Mills on it and not her Thai name Malithong. The translate place wanted proof of Malithong becoming Mills which is a problem as when you divorce in the uk they keep the marriage cert. she has a British passport with her now married name batty. We had no problem getting her divorce cert getting stamped by FCD and Thai embassy in uk. Only running into this problem with the translator doing it with the translations. I was think If we just go in person to MFA with the translation we can have it sorted easy and come away with it all stamped. But long way for us to travel to hit a road block with them also
understood, it's just that my wife and I both British had a problem renewing our retirement visas this year. For 15 years Jomtien Immigration accepted a copy of our Certificate but this year refused and told us to get it stamped in Bkk at Thai Consul. We went to Bkk and they declined to stamp it saying it need to go to UK for an Apostile stamp. After we got the stamp from UK Bkk again declined saying it had to be stamped by Thai Embassy in London ! We did all of the above and after nearly 3 months finally got it sorted !

I was there last week.
If you need a document stamped, they're limiting numbers to 150 people so go there early enough.
First day I went at 1pm and wasn't allowed a queue number. Went next morning at 9am and was out by 10am.
