I need to do up a re entry permit as I'm on Non-ED visa (Issued on 9 February 2023)

Making a short trip to KL on Monday morning to attend a funeral of a distant relative that passed away.

Just realized that my usual place at Chaengwatanna Division 1 is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Is there any other immigration offices that I can do up my re entry permit?

Got my passport photo ready

TM 8 ready.

Usually I'll photocopy my front page of passport main page and latest entry date at the Chaengwatanna basement print shop, but in this case I won't be going there

Any advice on any other immigration office that is in Bangkok?

I stay around Phrom Phong

I read somewhere that I can do it directly at the airport (fee is more expensive) but I don't know where and what is required / or if the process is different

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual needs a re-entry permit for their Non-ED visa, but their usual immigration office is closed on weekends. They are inquiring about alternative immigration offices or the process for obtaining a re-entry permit at the airport before a short trip to KL. Community members confirm that permits can be obtained at both DMK and Suvarnabhumi airports, with confirmation that the process is available 24/7 at these locations.

You can get a reentry permit

at either airport. DMK has an office that's closed at night, but a supervisor can always issue one, just takes a little longer if they're busy.

Airport and which airport are you flying out from?

reentry subarnabum airport always open. Just before you go through immigration. I always have a sticker on the outside of my passport that says" REENTRY"

Correct, although if you were to travel between 1am and 6am, when there are very few departing flights there might not be anyone there. However, generally speaking there should be and of course there are no intra-ASEAN flights departing in the middle of the night anyway. The last flights to KL generally depart no later than around 9pm so the OP will be fine.

haven't book ticket, most likely Survarnahumbi Airport

Is the re-entry permit counter open 24h at the international airport?

Just afraid if they closed when I go on Monday.... causing lots of inconvenience for my Non-ED visa

@James ******
yes open 24hrs and whenever they have flights. Dont worry about it and it is the same at both Suvarnabhumi and Don Muang.... Just ask them before entering that where is reentry and they will guide you.....Reentry at suvarnabhumi is at the common immigration clearance area if i am not wrong

U can do at airport....remember to do it
