Has anyone done a police check in Thailand for their visa? I'd like to know the process... where do I go? Can I get it done in a day or will I have to wait a couple of weeks? Out of 10, how nightmarish is it?

Answer summary

To obtain a police check in Thailand for visa purposes, you should visit the official police clearance center at the provided link. The process generally takes around two weeks to complete, and it has been described as not particularly difficult or 'nightmarish'.
