Applied for an LTR (WFTP) Visa. Supplied the latest 'additional information' 2 weeks ago and keep getting told it will be reviewed 'today' but nothing progresses. Does anyone have a contact at thai immigration that might be able to help get this one across the line? Time is getting quite critical.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is facing delays on their LTR (WFTP) Visa application, which has been under review for two weeks with no progress. They are seeking contacts at Thai Immigration to help expedite the process. Comments from the community suggest that reaching out directly to the Board of Investment (BOI) can help, and some recommend visiting the LTR office in Bangkok for faster resolution. Others have had success with direct calls, email, or contacting the LTR team via their Facebook page.

I found a post on the SMART visa site that extends to LTR and allows you to arrange a zoom which was organised straight away. I still got a similar result (wait another 2 weeks) but at least got to speak to someone

Echoing others comments about calling BOI directly and using the contact form on their website. That’s worked for me in the past as well as messaging the LTR team through their Facebook page:

Not sure where you are located but I'm in BKK. My wife and I walked into the LTR office, I think on Rama IV and after that things progressed quite quickly. Give it a try.

I've called almost on a daily basis. Some days i am stuck on hold for an hour and give up, other days i get through and am told to expect a response by the end of the week. I've had that for 2 weeks.

I understand the BOI is different to immigration but looking for any alternate way to progress this as BOI directly has not been successful and a friend suggested someone from immigration may have an indirect connection to the BOI office.

BOI responds to the message form on the LTR website. You can then email directly with their email.

- thanks. I had been struggling with all forms of communication with them. Finally lined up a zoom call where i was told it is with the supervisor and it will likely be another 2 weeks before i hear an answer. I guess i will just have to be patient and make alternative arrangements while i wait

I’m in the same boat, going for the WFTP visa.

Was rejected after 5 months of working with the BOI office on documents needed. After getting on the phone with a supervisor, a reason “couldn’t be provided”, just the recommendation to re-apply 😅

Curious to hear how it goes for you…open for a DM if you want to chat

Immigration has nothing to do with your review. You need to call the BOI. The applications tend to get "stuck" and you can get it unstuck by calling them. But beware that Tuesday is a holiday so I wouldn't expect much to get done until Wednesday.

I had multiple emails and Line messages when my application stalled but as soon as I called things started moving again.
