Greetings and salutations everyone!

I applied for the LTR โ€œTโ€ visa (Work from Thailand professional). Around two weeks ago I submitted all mandatory documents.

Does anyone of you guys already got the visa?

Do you guys have any more information about how long it takes and/or how to process is after submitting all the documents? All I basically know is that it takes around 20 working days for the BOI to review the documents.

I appreciate any kind of help.

I wish everyone of you a wonderful week ahead.

Much love

TLDR : Answer Summary
This post discusses the processing time for the LTR 'T' visa in Thailand, which typically takes around 20 working days, based on shared experiences from users. Some report getting approval within this timeframe, while others note delays that can extend to two or three months due to document issues. Additionally, there is a requirement to enter Thailand within 90 days of the visa issuance, or the visa will be cancelled.

Hi there, thanks for all the help full info. Does anyone know if you have to travel by within 3 months or a minimum specific time after LTR issuance ?

@Trang *****
you have 90 days to enter Thailand. If you don't enter within 90 days, then it is cancelled and you start over.

If your paperwork clearly meets the online requirements, you are good to go. Approvals in less than 20 days

very strange is all I can say. Hopefully you'll be issued with the visa after all.

that's a very strange reason for being denied . Almost unheard of. The very nature of any non-immigrant visa is that you will eventually leave. The LTR visa is a non-immigrant visa with no pathway to permanent residency that I'm aware of, so why would immigration or the consulate deny you on the basis of needing to so business travel outside the country?

I'm a pilot that flies in Asia one week per month rest of the time is here in Thailand. I do fly into BKK airport as well but that wasn't good enough for them and got denied
