TLDR : Answer Summary
To change your tourist visa to a Non-O visa in Thailand, it's possible if you have more than 15 days remaining on your current visa. You need to visit the Immigration office in Bangkok and request a information handout detailing the requirements. Ensure you provide all necessary documents, and your Non-O visa can be stamped in your passport in about 15 days.
NON-O RETIREMENT VISA RESOURCES / SERVICES

If you have more than 15 days left on your Admitted to Stay, visit the Immigration office and ask for the hand out with requirements. Provide all the documents asked and 15 days later your Non O visa will be stamped in your passport.
