How can I apply for a DTV visa while currently in Thailand?

Hi there I am currently on vacation in Thailand and want to make DTV visa. 

My question are as follows:

How do I get it the easist? (From what I Can read online of requirements I furfill all requirements)  and Is it possible to do it from here in Thailand?

DTV has different categories. First decide which category you want to get and then apply with documents that satisfy that specific category. All categories have the same financial requirements.

-do I just go to the Thai embassy in one of those countries to apply for the DTV?

Yeah so go to Vietnam -> apply as soon as I am touch down -> wait in Vietnam until aproved -> go back to Thailand and enjoy 180 days before I need to do the procedure over again. Correct

except for the applying for the visa part. You get stamped into Thailand for 180 days then leave to wherever you want. Return to Thailand and get stamped in for 180 days...

oh so as soon as I got the DTV. I get 180 day stamp every time I make reentry to Thailand? Without having to reaply?

you need to travel to a location served by the consulate you want to apply via and you must remain there until the application process completes.

you have to apply online. A lot of success stories from Vietnam. Depending on where you go will determine if you use Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh city

You can start your application while in Thailand by uploading your documentation online and updating it as you get things together. The last thing you need to upload is your proof of where you are which is normally your entry stamp in your passport from the country you apply from. That can be done within minutes of clearing Immigration if everything else has been pre-loaded.

It doesn't have to be Vietnam, I just used that as an example of reports of success. However, no, you cannot apply inside of Thailand as they will ask for proof of current location as part of the application process

No. A DTV has to be obtained from outside of Thailand. Easiest is subjective. There are a number of neighbouring countries that will offer that. You’d need to decide where you want to apply and go there to do so.
