I am planning to apply for DTV visa. Currently I am in bangkok on tourist visa which will expire soon. I have a full time job in Hong Kong. I pay income tax in HK just want to work from Bangkok. It is a company registered headquarters in HK.

Can I apply from Bangkok?

What will increase my chance of getting the visa?

Is there any better visa which will allow me to work from home Bangkok with multiple entry.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The DTV visa must be applied for outside of Thailand, typically at a Thai embassy or consulate in your country of residence. Since you are currently in Bangkok on a tourist visa, you will need to leave Thailand to initiate the application process at a Thai embassy. To improve your chances of approval, ensure you have a letter from your employer allowing you to work remotely, as well as sufficient financial documentation. Additionally, confirm that you do not intend to work for a Thai company while holding this visa.

you cannot apply in the country - you must be outside of thailand to apply - generally to the Thai Embassy in the country you are resident - you will need a letter from your employer permitting you to work remotely - along with other documents. But the short answer is yes - if you meet the other requirements (amount of easily accessible savings etc) you are likely a good candidate - by virtue of your employed status You may not work for a thai company

You can only get a DTV from a Thai embassy or consulate. Obviously there are none of those in Thailand.

You must physically be in the jurisdiction of an embassy to apply there, and must remain until the application is processed. This takes anywhere from 3 days to 1.5 months depending on the embassy.
