TLDR : Answer Summary
The 90-day reporting location for expats in Thailand has returned to the main immigration office, located in Section A, after previously being moved due to COVID-19 restrictions. There is also confirmation that for those who are in Bangkok, the 90-day report can be filed at Chaengwattana. Additionally, appointments can be made online to avoid long queues.

and remember you can make an appointment to show up and file the report without having to queue up

Note, 90 day reports have only recently been added to the appointment system at CW and it's currently possible to inadvertently book an appointment when the office is actually closed for holidays. Double-check your dates...
Same would appear to be true for those booking appointments for a tourist visa extension on May 4th

The 90 day reporting is back at the main immigration office in it's own room (Section A) like it used to be (before this covid shit show)

If you are in Bangkok, it’s Chaengwattana where you do your 90days report in person.
