Does anyone know how much of a prescription medication (in this case antihypertensive) can be brought into Thailand? I read somewhere 30 days, but I am there on a tourist visa at least 60 days and was hoping I could bring in that amount.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When traveling to Thailand, you can bring prescription medications, including antihypertensives, for personal use. While some sources suggest a limit of 30 days, in practice, many travelers report bringing up to 90 days or even 6 months of medication as long as it is not classified as a controlled substance. It's advisable to keep the medications in their original labeled containers and carry them in your hand luggage to avoid any issues.

I bring 6 months with me when I come back, usually pack in my hold luggage sometimes hand luggage (it’s not opioid type meds)

I make sure it’s in the original box with label

Had no problems so far

if you can, I have never been asked in 10 years but better to be prepared!

As long as it’s an official label from a pharmacy or prescription from doctor

That’s probably the official line, but in practice as long as it’s not a controlled substance in Thailand they won’t care. Make sure it’s in it’s labeled container. Many reports of people bringing 6 months of personal medications and having zero issues.
