May I ask if Non-ed application requires a bank statement?
My boyfriend is holding a non-b but the contract is ending this month (work permit is until September) . The school promises they could keep the work permit till September.
We're thinking of changing to non-ed for 12 months because we don't trust the school.
The agency didn't ask for statement but we're quite worried because there is only his salary account which went to another agency's account before they transfered to mine, which is not under his name.
I thought the non-ed is the easiest one.
Any advices? Thank you🙏♥️

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires whether applying for a Non-ED visa requires a bank statement, as they are considering switching from a Non-B visa due to distrust in their current school. They mention that the agency did not request financial documents but are concerned about the legitimacy of their boyfriend’s salary account. One comment suggests that generally, a bank statement is not needed for a Non-ED visa, although switching from Non-B to Non-ED can be challenging.
Generally no, you don't need to show anything financially for a non-ED. Some find it difficult to switch from non-B to non-ED though. But if your agency says they can do it 🤷🏻♂️
