Hi guys a quick question about investor visa.

I understand the visa needs at least 10 million baht asset from buying condo or bond, or fixed deposit account.

I have read some articles over the internet and cannot find the answer, does the condo part over cover brand new condos? Second hand condos aren't covered under this visa program?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Thai investor visa requires that the condo being purchased is brand new and approved from a developer; second-hand condos do not qualify for this visa program.

It needs to be approved and purchased from the developer so no used condos

Thanks for reply! I really appreciate it!

I still have another question, let say I want to buy 2x 5 mil baht condo to fulfill the requirement, can I buy them in separate year? Let say buy one in this year and buy another one at

? Or I must buy at the same time?

you need to ask the BOI your questions. They're the one who make the decisions on what qualifies and what doesn't, regardless of what others have experienced in the past. Each application is processed on a case by case basis.

you go visit them in person in Bangkok at the ChomChuri Square on the 18th floor. They make the decisions on what qualifies as investments. They also start the extensive background investigation to determine if you qualify. It isn't just how much you invest, but also that you don't have any criminal intent.
