Hi! I am going to try for a non O retirement visa in Thailand. I have some confusion about how much I need to deposit in the bank. Is it 800,000 baht regardless of your income or is it 800,000 minus your monthly income?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirement for a Non-O retirement visa in Thailand states that you must have 800,000 baht in a Thai bank account. This amount must be fully deposited in your name and the funds should originate from abroad. The 800,000 baht requirement is not reduced by your monthly income; it is a fixed amount, although there are alternatives where you can qualify with a monthly income of at least 65,000 baht.

You need the 800.000 Thb in a Thai bank account on your name and the money must come from abroad. You need some bank letters to proof this, next to your Thai bank book. Visit your bank branch to get the letters
Or do you already have the visa, got 90 days Admitted until ../../.. in your passport and would like to apply for the 1 year Extension of Stay at your local Immigration Office?
