Hi, I am based here in Thailand because I am married to thai national. My daughter is 29 years old (from 1st marriage) and would like to apply for dtv. She works online for a Hongkong company. Does she still need the 500k baht money in bank account or I can have that money in my account and I can sponsor her application? Is there something like that for DTV?
Answer summary
The application for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) typically requires proof of financial means, which often includes a minimum balance of 500,000 THB in the applicant's bank account. However, if the applicant is sponsored by a parent or another individual, this requirement can sometimes be met through the sponsor's bank account. It is suggested that your daughter could apply using a sponsor letter and bank account information from you, which appears acceptable according to information on official resources. Since she is currently employed online, this could further support her application.
