I recently posted here about the reentry permit. Since my flight was early in the morning, the reentry counter was empty, and it took me about 5 minutes to complete the process.
Now that I am back in Thailand, does my 90-day notification period start from the day I got stamped in?
Thank you in Advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user shares their experience with the reentry permit process during Songkran and asks if their 90-day notification period begins upon reentry. A commenter confirms that the 90-day notification period indeed starts from the day they were stamped back into Thailand.

Thanx for the update, we always tell people if no one is at the counter, find an officer and they'll get someone to sell you a re-entry. Glad it worked out (y)
make sure you check your entry stamp to see that you were stamped in correctly (with a re-entry permit) and not by mistake on a free stamp entry
