90 day report - been to Myanmar for three days, coming back on the same extension of stay using a reentry stamp. Does the 90 day report have to be done 90 days after re-entering from Myanmar or 90 days after my last 90-day report? TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
After re-entering Thailand from Myanmar on a re-entry stamp, the 90-day reporting requirement resets. You will need to complete your 90-day report 90 days after your re-entry date, which marks the start of a new 90-day period.

It's done as you enter Thailand immigration stamp you up for the next 90 days.

This does not replace the TM30 though

Leaving “resets” the 90 day clock. So your day of re-entering restarts it to day 1.

I think you have to report your place of stay within 24h after entering Thailand nonetheless. Either by yourself or by your hotel/landlord. This is what then will reset the 90 day count. In my understanding.

I have used 4 Immigration offices, all required a TM30 within 24 hours after entry.

And as a TM30 is basically a residence report, you still have to do it, even if you don't call it a 90 day report. BTW, aren't TM30 and 90day report done on the same immigration website form?

no they're completely different systems for some reason

The 90 day “clock” is not dependant on you doing a TM30 report. It restarts as soon as you enter as day 1.

Some offices don’t require a new TM30 report if you are returning to your registered address even if you’ve travelled overseas. Most do require it though.

I'm asking because the last time I re-entered and then did my first 90day report they asked me why i skipped the last two ones 😅

there is no requirement to report if you’re not in Thailand. So if you skipped them because you were overseas they’re irrelevant. If you did indeed skip them whilst in country then they can see that even though you’ve since left and re-entered.

then you say "I left the country"
