Hello, I am going to apply for a DTV. I was wondering if the passport should still be at least 5 years valid or not? Also, is HMC better than Hanoi? Thank you very much for your help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a DTV visa, it is required that the passport has at least 6 months of validity, not 5 years as questioned. Additionally, there are opinions on whether HMC (Ho Chi Minh City) is better than Hanoi for visa processing, with reports suggesting varying experiences.

The passport must have at least 6 months validity. There are many reports in this group already from both of the offices in Vietnam.
