Hi, I have a multiple entry Non-O (marriage) e-visa issued to me at my home country's Thai embassy.

I am wondering if entering Thailand for a 5th time on this visa right before Oct 26th,2024 would give me an additional 90 days, effectively making this visa last me 15 months?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires whether entering Thailand for the fifth time on a multiple entry Non-O (marriage) e-visa just before its expiration would grant them an additional 90 days. Responses confirm that re-entering would indeed extend the visa validity, resulting in a total duration of approximately 15 months.

Yep...you will get the 90 day stamp.

Curious... what is the home country which issued your One year Non O multiple entry VISA as Married to Thai ?

Also married to a Thai, but could only get the 90 day Non O single entry VISA from US. Was told I could only get a 1 year visa at the end of initial 90 day e-visa.

I applied online for the e-visa, 90 single entry or $80 or 1 year multiple entry for $200 were the 2 options on the website for me.

and in fact after that 90 days runs down you should be able to apply for a 60 day "visit thai family" extension and get two more months (giving you about 17 months of stay from that year long O visa πŸ™‚ )

That's great, I plan to get the 1 year extension after the 15 months

these are the common found requirements for the 60 day family visit extension of stay at your local Thai Immigration office for 1900 Thai baht.

@James *******
interesting, I wonder if I can extend my current 90day stamp even if my visa is not expired. Sounds easier than doing a bkk-poipet border run.

@Marcus *******
at some offices you can only use that 60 day visit family ONCE per visa, not once per entry.

Don't burn it unless you need to and keep it, to use if things go side ways.

You got a year long multi-entry visa, bounce at 90 days get the final 90 days, get your ducks in a row and apply for the year extension like you intend to

@Marcus *******
Ask your local Thai Immigration office for their requirements and when you can apply. Usually you can apply within 30 days from your current ending date. Take your Thai wife with you to visit your local Thai Immigration office.

YES that's a better solution vs doing a BORDER BOUNCE.

So you have the required funds in a Thai account?

I will transfer them a couple of months before I apply.

You may need to use the 60 day visit Thai family extension to season your funds if you don't yet have a bank account
