I have had 500,000 baht or more in my account now for over three months. I own a company and can work remotely, but our company is newly established and we have only been reporting income for a month, so it is probably risky to apply for a workcation visa. So I have two questions: can anyone recommend a good agency/agent who could help me safely obtain a DTV through soft power, someone reliable at an affordable price, perhaps even with a money-back guarantee if the DTV is not granted? DTV orkcation or soft power is stll DTV right?
My second question is, how long after applying for/receiving the DTV do I have to enter Thailand? The thing is, I would like to apply for a DTV in February/March because I would like to use some of my money for my business and I will probably end up with less than 500,000 THB in my account. However, before I arrange everything necessary for the move, I want to move to Thailand and fly there around June/July.
Can anyone please advise me? I would be very grateful.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Matthew from the Czech Republic is seeking advice on applying for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) in Thailand while managing a newly established company and maintaining sufficient funds. He asks for trustworthy agencies to assist with the visa process and inquires about the timeframe for entry after visa approval. Community responses clarify the validity and conditions of the DTV, suggesting that he can work remotely from Thailand and advising on documentation needed for the visa application.
Reporting income doesn’t matter - it’s how long you can show you’ve been receiving and depositing. Don’t apply as the business owner and just say you work remotely for company A and have a letter from company A saying you can work from Thailand.
In that case, the soft power route is the way to go. Apply in February before you reinvest your funds, then go in April or May for a few days to activate the visa. You can go back home after and sort things out and make the final move to Thailand anytime within 5 years :-)
I haven't received any income from the company yet because it's new. I'll receive my first income from the company in February. Is it still good idea to apply like you say?
Anonymous, for those considering enrolling in a Thai cooking class, I have a 5% discount voucher available for Arun Thai Cooking School, Bangkok. Save THOUSANDS of baht on your DTV journey!
