TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a Thai visa, documents not in English should typically be translated into English or Thai. It's advisable to remain in Jakarta during the visa application process, as additional documents or personal interviews may be required by the Thai Embassy.

It's wise to stay in Jakarta while your DTV visa application is awaiting a decision. You could be asked to submit ADDED documents or even a personal interview with the Thai Embassy.
