TLDR : Answer Summary
When arriving in Thailand, it is advisable to have proof of onward travel, especially if you are entering on a 30-day visa-exempt status. Airlines may require this documentation before boarding, so it's prudent to have it ready to avoid any issues upon arrival.

If the airlines lets you board the the plane coming here without a visa in your passport for thailand or proof of onward travel you'll be fine once you get here.

The problems are comin' to thailand on a 30 day visa exempt entry without showing the airline proof you're leaving the country in 30 days
