Quick question, when you deposit the 800,000 into a Thai bank account do you have to prove it came from overseas like the monthly method or not

TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirement to prove that the 800,000 THB deposited in a Thai bank account came from overseas can vary by immigration office. For the initial Non-O visa, some offices may require evidence of an international transfer, while this is generally not a requirement for the 12-month Extension of Stay.

For the initial 90 day Non-O visa yes you normally do. For a 12 month extension of stay you do not

800,000 for what?

If trying to convert from tourist to non-O visa inside of Thailand, a common requirement is to be shown that it's an international transfer.

If trying to apply for the 1-year extension, it's not a common requirement to show that.

Some Immigration Offices require that for the initial Non-O Visa but it is not a requirement for the 12 month Extension of Stay.

That’s going to be office dependent. Some require it to be shown as an international transfer, some just want the balance.
