When you convert the 90 day non-B visa to a one year extension of stay, do you need to have the 15 days left on the 90 day like you do converting a tourist visa to the non-B?

Thanks in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can convert your 90 day non-B visa to a one year extension of stay even if you have less than 15 days remaining, though it is advised to do so 15-20 days prior to expiration for a smoother process.

Can be done like a week before. But it’s always advised to convert it 15-20 days before.
