Do we need to fill out the new travel visa for Thailand if visiting in November 2024?
Hi we are visiting Thailand in November this year. We are coming as tourists to look at retiring next year. My question is would we need to fill out the new travel visa that's being put into place. Will we be questioned about not having one when we arrive in November. Just preparing ourselves as its been 5 years since we last traveled. Thankyou
Answer summary
The new Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) program is not set to be implemented until December, so tourists visiting Thailand in November will not be required to have it. Travelers can simply arrive as usual and go through the regular entry process without needing the ETA.

You are mistaking a few things
first it's not a "travel visa" it's actually an ETA <- Electronic Travel Authorization
The program will be started in DECEMER and you're comin' here in Nov so you won't need to do one.
Just show up and get stamped in like normal

Guess you are talking about the ETA, which is not even going to be "soft" introduced until December this year, so in answer to your question, "no" you will not require one as they will not even be available at the time of your travel.
