do I need to write all of them under âmiddle nameâ on my application?
Or only the first middle name?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When filling out the visa application, you should enter your names exactly as they appear in your passport. If all your middle names are listed under the middle names section, then include all of them. If they are grouped with your first name as 'given names,' follow that format accordingly on the application. It's crucial to avoid any discrepancies, as mistakes cannot be corrected after submission.
Write it excactly like in the machinereadable white field, at the bottom of the picturepage of the Passport
Mistakes cannot be corrected, neither by you or the Embassy staff, so mistakes cost the 10.000 Baht visafee. ( NON-refundable)

I have first and middle name but they're both listed under "given names" on my passport? As far as I could tell there was no possibility to use a space to enter two names under first name, how should these be entered on the evisa site?

You copy whatever is shown on your passport. Simple as that!

Are they also listed under middle names in your passport ? The consular officer has no idea about foreign names or middle names; he just looks at your passport and wants you to enter it on the e-visa form exactly as it appears in your passport.
okay, then copy exactly what is shown in your passport. If you leave them out, itâs a guaranteed cancellation.

Whatever it says in your passport

Copy and paste whatever your passport says. This important because some people might have two names and/or two family names, but not always everything is on the passport. Only what's there matters for the visa.
