I just had an interview for DTV in Vientiane thai embassy and were told I would get the visa approved by 2pm today.

Do I have to visit the embassy again once I get the approval email? Or would the immigration stamp my passport when I cross the border?

I'm planning on taking a bus back to Thailand at 4pm.

Vientiane Thai embassy, super professional and speedy. Applied for e-tourist visa. Approved within two days. Sent me emails twice asking for clearer photos etc. hassle-free.

Your visa will be in the email as a PDF go to a printer and print it out and hand it to the officer with your passport when you cross into Thailand. Don't forget to do the TDAC arrival and check your permission to stay stamp.

No need to visit again yo embassy. Just take a printout of your evisa and got the stamp of 180 days while entering in thai
