Iโ€™m at immigration office Nonthaburi right now, Thursday 8:30 am and it is true you do not have to come in for a 30 extension.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user at the Nonthaburi immigration office confirmed that there is no need to physically visit for a 30-day extension. This has led to various queries from community members regarding specific circumstances, such as having a 'for consideration' stamp, already having an extension, or existing waivers. Overall, it appears that the recent announcement will benefit many expats, although some are seeking clarification on whether the update applies universally.

I believe you are good. Everyone legally in the country on March 26 gets an automatic extension until April 30. No need to report to immigration.

So, basically it buys me an extra week, because my for consideration date is April 22nd. So forget about that stamp and try to get another extension on the 30th?
