Just checking my visa ran out couple days ago. Do i need to go to immigration and do or get something in regards to the COVID or is it automatic that I am now on the amnesty?

Because I remember when this amnesty was given. They just said don't go to immigration everybody is extended if your visa had finished after the date they chose. Just want to check that I am not on overstay?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring whether they need to take any action regarding their expired visa, given the COVID-19 amnesty announcement that extended visas automatically, and they are seeking clarification to ensure they are not overstaying.

I was on a multiple entry 1 year non o visa. That expired and then I applied for a 60 day family extension

then as benjamin stated correctly, you would go automatically onto the amnesty and be allowed to stay until no Later than the 31st of July.
