Hello all! My covid extension expires on the 6th of January. I went into Pattaya immigration and they told me it's too early to apply. My question is would I have any issues if I went in to apply after the new year?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the timing for applying for a COVID visa extension, specifically whether applying after January 1st would cause any issues, given their current extension expires on January 6th. Respondents indicate that it's acceptable to apply shortly after the new year, as the extension program is valid until January 25th, as long as they apply before the current visa expires.

@Martin *******
go the 30th of Dec OR you go the 4th of Jan

The current 60 day covid extension program runs until Jan 25th, so as long as you go before your current stamp expires you're fine.

Go just after the new year holiday (the 4th or 5th of Jan)
