Hi, about to go get a NON-O Marriage in Vietnam. Since the payment of the visa is via debit/credit card, is it needed to show up at some point at a consulate/embassy within the country or it's now fully online process therefore can be done from anywhere?

As for the bank statement from an overseas bank how many months is required?

Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The application for a NON-O Marriage visa requires physical presence in the country where the Thai consulate is located, meaning you cannot complete the entire process online from anywhere. You must upload your visa or entry stamp as proof of your presence, along with providing a hotel address and a permanent Thai address. Regarding bank statements, recent guidelines indicate that you need to provide a statement covering the last three months, but the necessary balance of 400,000 baht or its equivalent must only be present in your account at the time of your visa application.

You need to be IN the country of the thai consulate you're using and you upload your visa/entry stamp to show proof you're there along with using the hotel address as your current address and your thai address as your 'permanent' one.

They ask for 3 months bank statement, but recent reports indicate that the 400K baht or equivalent only has to be in the account when you apply for the visa.
