Do I need to update my TM30 visa form every year, or does it last indefinitely?
I have a TM30 ,from immigration, that gives the address I’m staying at ( my girlfriend’s house in Buri Ram ) . It has the date I started to live there on it but no expiry date .

If you are always at your girlfriends house then no problem.
If you go somewhere else and stay in a hotel and don’t tell Buriram immigration when you come back then he will fine you 200baht

that’s not correct …. When I got my TM30 at Buri Ram immigration I told them I would be travelling around and did I need to come see him every time . He said if I was returning to the address on the TM30 he had just given me I didn’t need to go see him .Ian *************
The problem is, if you stay in a hotel in the meantime they will file a TM30 meaning this is your new address. If you have the app on your phone it takes 30 seconds to update it again.

Is there a TM30 app? I know there used to be one but it was discontinued some time ago. I do mine online through a web browserIan *************

you're right Steve. Because I have the address saved on my phone it reacts like an app and I just add my passport number, gender and first name and register within seconds

i use the pink card to check in, the is no connection to my passport and the TM30 i use in our house.

I never filled out a TM30, unless I moved out either out of Thailand, or within Thailand...every other time I never filled one out..if you stay at the same place all the time, only time when you renew your stay in Thailand, and that is mostly to confirm it

well well good for you but my local immi want a tm30 when we get back from a few days holiday in Udon Thani. We live 1 hours drive from Udon.David ******
My TM 30 (jonjiem immigration) was filled in in March 2024, never done another, only doing my 90 day report to state I'm still there.

Jomtien require a TM30 update for each new extension of stay. Last year the update was verbal, this year, as in today, they want a new TM30 filed with copies of passport, visa stamps and a self declaration of address. My old TM30 is dated from 2023 and has been valid up until today when I was told I now need to re-file.David ******

The "check out" date is not a mandatory field when filling a TM 30.
It's immigration office specific as far as what you're asking. I know some offices want a new TM 30 every year when you get your extension whereas other offices are fine with you using one for several years..
You're going to have to ask the office you use and see what they say..
