I have a non OA multiple entry Visa ( valid until 31/3/2025 )

I am leaving Thailand next week and plan to return in 2 months.

My understanding is that I do not require

a re - entry permit , so my question is, when I return I just need to show my original Visa approval document, or does the immigration data base show that I have a multi entry visa ?

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you hold a non OA multiple entry visa and are returning to Thailand after two months, you do not require a re-entry permit. Upon return, you simply need to present your passport along with your valid multiple entry visa. Additionally, it's important to show proof of health insurance; your entry stamp could be limited to the duration of your health insurance validity.

You also need to show the required health insurance. Your entry stamp will be for 1 year, but if your health insurance is for less than a year you'll only be stamped in until then.

yes , the health insurance policy I took out for my OA application started
****
/2024 , as I assumed you needed an active policy at the point of application, consequently when I arrived in
*****
/2024, immigration stamped my passport to
****
/2024, so I only actually got 10 months, not the expected initial 90 days and then 12 months after proof of funds etc.

As you say the Health insurance duration is crucial.

but if you get an additional year of health insurance, you can get almost 2 years out of your visa.

I assumed you could not extend an active health insurance policy but I will certainly try before I return , thanks

interesting I didn’t know that. Thank you.

That is if you are still on the initial OA visa. Not a extension.

You just show your passport and your still valid multiple entries visa in the immigration and you’ll get stamped in for another year or as long as your health insurance is valid.
