Question

When coming to Thailand on regular passport in December

With or without quarantine

Do you have to show return trip out of country for coe application

The reason I ask

Is my parents are flying in

Reguardless of quarantine or not

And booked flights

They come from America visa exempt and need coe

We will go to immigration and get and additional 30 day extension

The reason for the question

They booked tickets already for 60 days apart instead of 30

TLDR : Answer Summary
The question revolves around whether travelers coming to Thailand from America on a visa-exempt basis in December need to show a return flight when applying for the COVID Exemption Certificate (COE). While some travelers have reported needing proof of a return flight, embassy rules may vary, and it's suggested to apply with your current tickets or consider opting for a flexible ticket that allows changes after arrival.

It seems from previous posts that each embassy has its own rules on return flights. Usually they need to see a flight out of Thailand (doesn’t need to be a return) within the number of days you’re allowed (tourist visa or visa exempt) regardless that you could apply for an extension in country. However some people say their embassy issued the CofE anyway. Guess you’ll just have to apply and see, or get a flexible ticket and change on arrival.

I booked return for 90 days and got TR60 tourist Visa .
