TLDR : Answer Summary
When entering Thailand with a visa exemption and having a return flight scheduled for more than 30 days later, it is common to have concerns about whether an onward or exit flight needs to be shown upon entry. While it is generally advisable to have an exit flight within the validity period of the visa exemption, some travelers report not encountering issues when presenting a return flight that is beyond that timeframe. However, airlines may refuse boarding if they believe you do not have sufficient onward travel documentation.
Airline policy, very unlikely immigration would stop you as they know you can do a 30 day extension, its the airlines. i have tagged your post with topic onward flights you can find more details and solutions in some of the questions and answers there..
