Hi I'm into my 2nd year of my OA visa. 

Do I need to go in person to immigration for my first 90 day reporting or can I do it by post?

"Ps  I'll be traveling up North when my 90 day report is due, possibly limited internet access"

NO, you report at the Immigration Office where your address is registered.

Yes, the First 90 days report is done in person as mentioned when you try to use the on line service.

On the side, even in the north of Thailand there is good internet.
