TLDR : Answer Summary
With a Non-Immigrant O-A Long Stay visa, you do not need to leave Thailand every 90 days. Instead, you must report to an immigration office every 90 days (TM47) while remaining in Thailand. As long as you entered the country under this visa, you will have a full year of stay, and will need to file the 90-day report only if you are in Thailand continuously for 90 days.

And before this turns into another mindless TM30 post about do I, or don't I, we're done.

Glad you got your visa, good luck :)

If you travel in Thailand do you have to file TM 30 when you return to your house

that is 100% up to your immigration office. Each office does it their own way. You need to direct that question to them.

Note that a 90-day report is something you do when you are in Thailand 90 continuous days. If you leave and re-enter before 90 days then 90 day clock resets to day 1.

One thing, Many people who have that visa seem to get stamped in wrong when they enter thailand. Make SURE that you get stamped in for a whole year when you enter the country. :)

Okay IF you got a year-long, multi-entry Non-Immigrant Type O-A (Long Stay) visa from a thai consulate in your country BEFORE you come here; the visa is good for a year from the date they issued it, it's good for unlimited entries to thailand for that year and every entry will get you stamped into the country for a full calendar year.

You do NOT leave the country every 90 days. If you're in thailand on the 90th day you go to the immigration office and file a TM47 <- 90 day report. That's it.

Also if you use that visa correctly (exiting and re-entering just before the visa itself expires), you can get TWO years of stay out of a visa that's valid for one year.

Good Luck (y)

Perfect visa ! Also not forget the TM30 notification if you don't stay in a hotel. And don't forget to leave Thailand and come back just before your visa expires. You get a free year of stay at entrance. Then, you only need a re-entry permit to keep that free year alive should you want to leave Thailand and come back again in that year. Good luck over here !!!

With a NON-OA you report 90 days.

You can easily see on your entry stamp that admitted to stay is one year from arrival.
