Good afternoon. All of a sudden I'm getting nervous. I returned from a holiday to the UK 10th October, my 90 day report was on the 12th October. I'm under the impression I have 90 days from my return date before I need to do a 90 day report. Please tell my assumption is correct. Otherwise I'm in for one heck of a fine. Many thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When returning to Thailand after a holiday, your 90-day reporting period resets. You need to count 90 consecutive days from your return date for the next report. The fine for late reporting is not as severe as initially feared, generally around 500 baht per day.

exactly, because it had no idea where you are. The system is set to send an email after a certain number of days. It doesn't know if you're inside or outside of Thailand, it just knows xx days have passed since your last report.
