My turn....just curious

I am from Belgium, living in Huahin on a retirement visa with multiple entry, house owner with yellow book and pink Thai ID card.

Do I still need to report every 90 days ?

What are the "advantages" of an ID card ?

TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, a Belgian expat living in Hua Hin on a retirement visa, inquires about the necessity of reporting every 90 days and the advantages of holding a Thai ID card. Comments confirm that he is indeed required to report every 90 days, similar to other foreigners. The ID card, although useful for certain situations like bank identification and potential discounts on national park entry, does not provide significant benefits, making it largely equivalent to having a passport for most official procedures.

Yep you're obligated to do 90 day reports like the rest of us here. :O

The yellow house book, the pink i/d card for foreigners in thailand provide no special advantages that I am aware of.

You MIGHT get into a national park at the thai price but once you seen one thai national park you can scratch most of the rest off the list.

You MIGHT be able to use the pink i/d card at the bank instead of your passport

You MIGHT be able to use the yellow house book (the one for regular foreigners) as proof of residence instead of getting a residence certificate from the immigration office of your consulate.

Other than the things you might be able to do using the yellow book and the pink i/d card they are as worthless as tits on a tomcat. :/

Yeah right. Kao yai, keang krachan and kao sok are so similar.... Thai national parks are the best!

Sounds like it has the same benefits as a Thai drivers license in that you might be able to do all of the above with it.

I reckon if I had a tomcat with tits it might supplement my income. There’s a market for everything 👍
