TLDR : Answer Summary
When renewing your UK passport in Thailand, it is necessary to provide colour photocopies of every single page of your passport, including the blank pages. This requirement may not be explicitly mentioned on the forms, but recent experiences shared by others confirm that it is essential for your appointment.

Are you on a retirement visa, if you are then you will have to do a bank statement for the thai immigration, I had a big upset with the immigration officer but they refused to renew my visa into my new passport until they have seen my bank account details

They insist that I have to go to the bank and get the account information for them

Now the bank only will do you a 6 month's statement for you there and then and the immigration know that

I would recommend that you avoid the same problem with the immigration and go to see your bank and they will give you the statement frist find out how long it takes to get the statement

This sounds like a very specific immigration office “requirement”.

that's what they said to me

But it's not on the list of things that we must have to do to move the visa to the new passport

They told me that they only do that when they are dealing with retirement visa application

To be honest I got upset with the officer because I don't have the book with me

But I was lucky that the bank was happy to help,so they gave me the 6 month statement because I had my card and passport

thanks John , my visa runs out same time , soon as I get new passport I’ll go to immigration and see my lady that works there …. She did it last year for me. so I’m sure she’ll either just do the new one or move it over no problem….Chonburi immigration isn’t too bad of you know the right people
