Dear all, any idea if u need pre_book online first for TR visa extension @bangkok HQ division 1?  This would be my first time after my 60Day TR, may I ask directly a 60 day covid ext. In my TM 7 form,  And let the imigtation officer to decide? Or I have to apply and stare in TM 7, a 30Day ext first? And only, despite the reason remains the same... Covid.? And TM 30 provided by my residence hotel need cover 60 days as well? Many thanks!!!

it doesn't matter what you request, first you get the normal 30 day extension.

The only thing a TM30 shows is where you are staying and when you started staying there. That is all it shows. It does not show how long you are going to stay anywhere.

okey dokey! Thank u! crytal clear now.. so they would not care what I fill in nor requested ... 30 day ext first... TM30 just formality ... Provided by current staying hotel from whenever to when/whatever ...

You don't have to book an appointment, but it might be faster.

You are required by law to take the 30 day extension before you can apply for the Covid extension.

thank u! So even in my TM 7 form I requested 60day, provided with all the support docs ... they would grant 30 days first anyway ...
