Hi all⦠has anyone from England who is staying in Phuket, recently obtained a 60 day covid visa extension? If so, was it easy and do you need any documents other than a TM30? I was thinking of applying tomorrow. Thanks for any info

Billie-Joe Lowles. It should be! The number of people who claim they're on a VOA and don't have any idea what stamp they're actually on is quite astounding
I had a 30 day visa on arrival and to my surprise, they extended it another 30 days a while ago

Lane Hughes. There's no such thing as a 30-day Visa On Arrival. What you actually had was a visa exemption stamp. Its standard practice to get a 30-day extension on this for 1900baht. No need for your surprise. People have been doing this for years!
actually it is called that. But I was asking for advice on a covid extension

Lane Hughes. Visa On Arrival is 15 days. You don't have a visa. You have a 30-day visa exempt stamp. I'm just wondering why you were surprised you got a 30-day extension. Its standard practice. If you apply for a covid extension before March 25 you should get it. Nothing is 100% because it's a discretionary extension.
