Is it required to have your 90 day report ‘receipt’ in your passport? If done online are you supposed to keep a hard copy in your passport?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When it comes to the 90-day report in Thailand, it is generally advised to keep the receipt in your passport. Many users mentioned that immigration officers typically want to see this receipt, especially during in-person reporting. Although some expats carry digital copies on their phones, it is recommended to have the hard copy available in your passport. There are mixed experiences regarding whether to use a staple or paper clip for the receipt, with some immigration officers preferring one over the other.

I believe the correct answer if you ask immigration is yes, but like most people I just have pictures of them on my phone.

When I was doing my 90 day reports in person in Bangkok the immigration officer very definitely wanted to see the previous receipt. I had it stapled to my passport. When I did it online I could download an identical 90 day report receipt.
