TLDR : Answer Summary
After receiving your work permit with your old passport number, you do not need to update the work permit to reflect your new passport number. Instead, you can carry both passports. Additionally, any stamps such as Extension of Stay or re-entry permits from your old passport can be transferred to your new passport at the Immigration Office.

Congratulations with your work permit, days of holiday are now over and can start working. You can transfers the stamps inside your passport like Extension of Stay and re-entry permits into you new passport at Immigration Office. No need to update the work permit or the same with driving license.
