Quick question please and realise that from Ist March 2019 and it does not affect me as I leave 800K in my Thai Bank account. If one for instance one have already got their extension of stay and their first 90 day is before 1st March one can just do the reporting at Immigration, as before
In the future does one has to have yet another bank letter confirming the balance of 800K or higher at the 90 days.
Thanks to those who use Agents and sort out false bank statements and we all get tarnished with the same brush.
Thank all
TLDR : Answer Summary
This post addresses concerns about the 90-day reporting process for foreign residents in Thailand after new banking regulations were implemented on March 1, 2019. The initial inquiry clarifies whether individuals who obtained their extensions prior to this date will be required to show proof of an 800,000 THB bank balance during their 90-day report. Community responses clarify that those who received extensions before March 1 will not have to comply with the new requirements until their next extension application, which may require proof of funds.
