Hi all, I have my extension of stay under consideration stamp. (I am currently on a non-o visa based on marriage). I am due to go back to immigration tomorrow (17th) to 'collect' my extension of stay (if that is the right term). Does anyone know if I need to take new updated bank balance statement copies and updated bank book?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user asked if updated bank statements and bank book copies are required when collecting an extension of stay for a non-O visa based on marriage. Responses indicated that requirements may vary by immigration office. Some offices do not ask for updated bank documents if the applicant has previously provided proof of funds, while others may need to see the bank book to confirm the balance. Ultimately, the user did not have to provide additional documents during their follow-up visit, suggesting it is best to check specific requirements with the respective immigration office.

What office is this?

NOT every office requires you bring your updated bank book back when your 30 day under consideration stamp is up so you can get the year extension. Most do not require it at all,

he was only going back after he'd applied for the year extension based on marriage and gotten a 30 day under consideration stamp to get the year extension stamped into his passport

Back from immigration. In and out in 15 minutes. Was not asked for any other information (bank statements etc). Big thanks to the advice from here.

Sorry forgot to add that I have also had a home visit from immigration. They wanted to see sitting outside and also one other witness who has known my wife and I for a while

Thanks Tod - will go and update book bank today (belt/braces/ankle clips approach ๐Ÿ˜€). At Jomtien immigration they never said anything else to me - just come back 17june. They put stamp in my passport and attached 90notice

SOME immigration offices want you to bring the updated bank book in to show the 400K baht is still in the account BUT some don't.

What did they tell you when you went and applied for the year extension? They usually make it really clear what you need to do when you come back.

OR

Just update your bank book and make a copy of the current page that shows the balance before you go, that way you're covered either way :P
