Note that the US Thai Embassy or Consulate requirements for the DTV visa is US $16,000 bank account balance in a bank account in your name only. The amount changes so be sure to check the website before you SUBMIT the DTV visa application on-line using the Evisa online application system.

I did not submit these when I applied through the L.A. consulate. But you can also book this stuff refundable, download the reservation confirmations, and then cancel.
