Answer summary
The user plans to arrive in Thailand on June 23 and return on August 4. They are inquiring about the need for a visa, specifically whether they can enter for 30 days and extend their stay at an immigration center. Comments clarify that eligibility for a visa-exempt entry depends on the user's passport, and that currently, holders of Belgian passports can obtain a 60-day visa exemption upon arrival, allowing them to extend their stay later if needed.

Whether you can get visa exempt entry or not will depend on the passport you hold. Assuming you are eligible you can still currently get stamped in for 60 days, even if this reduces to 30 before you arrive you can still extend at an immigration office. Or you could get a tourist visa before you arrive
If you are from "visa exempt" country currently 60 days, rule state that 15 days notice is required to change rules, so therefore you are still in 60 day window.
Belgian passports should still be good for the 60 day visa when you arrive. They havent changed the rules just yet, so you will be good to travel for that whole period. Bon voyage!
