Hello! Canadian citizen here.
I am applying for METV visa and just have a quick question.
I have my flight ticket arriving to Bangkok and then I bought a “throw away” ticket from Bangkok to Singapore and back to Bangkok on day 59 after landing in Thailand to show that 1) I am leaving before day 60 and 2) that I need to come back to Thailand to get METV approval.
My question is: do I need ANOTHER flight ticket after that to show I’m leaving Thailand for the second time?
Hope this is clear? Thanks!!
TLDR : Answer Summary
A Canadian citizen inquiring about the need for an additional flight ticket after applying for the METV visa in Thailand received guidance from community members. They shared that generally, having a flight out and back around the 60th day is sufficient to demonstrate the need for the METV. One user mentioned they did not need an extra ticket for their METV, while another confirmed that the airlines typically require just the initial outbound ticket to satisfy conditions. Overall, the consensus is that an additional ticket may not be necessary.
