Hello all,

I just completed a 60 day SETV in Kota Bharu, Malaysia and hope this information helps someone.

My partner and I (French passport and American passport) were required to show proof of hotel, onward flight, and 50,000 THB.

At first, they were demanding proof of return flights to our home countries, but we were able to change their minds by saying we are traveling around Asia.

Not sure if 50,000 Baht is the norm; however, we were expecting it to be 20,000 per person as stated on their website.

Also, this was the first tourist visa my partner or I have applied for. I hope this helps someone and I'm happy to answer any other questions about the visa run! :)
